Full Version: Help with Raspberry Pi version build

I've been working with Raoul on the zIgbee2mqtt server app using the x86 i7 core version. It is working quite well.
Now I personally would like to get this going on my Raspberry Pi.
Raoul suggested that I build it manually from Git.

Since I have not done this before I am reaching out for help and direction of how to accomplish this. Raoul is up to his neck in job work.

Can anyone point out how to do this?

Once I have a running version I will upload the image for others.

I look forward to getting this contribution out there for the Calaos community.

Glenn.
Hi,

It will be difficult I think. You can find some help in the Wiki in this section: https://www.calaos.fr/wiki/fr/compilation
But it's in French and it's dated from 1913... it was Calaos version 1 :-) I didn't do that for a very long time sorry.

If you look at the Github, for exemple here: https://github.com/calaos/calaos_base
You can see dependencies, so install all of them on your Linux system.
Get Calaos Server code locally and use "how to build" command to make it.

It's not a easy way :-)

Good luck

In French and dated 1913? Wow that is a while ago.
Mais je parle francais et j'ecrit auci. C'est trente-cinq ans puisque je fait meme chose. Donc je pourrais etre (sorry no french keyboard) un peu rouille. Je viens du Canada.
Nos devrons voir. :-p

I started at this a while back and you are very right about the dependencies. There are a lot of them to figure out. Some obsolete. I switched over to the Intel image so I could get some things going. Maintenant, j'ai une meilleure comprehension du le terme niveau d'effort.

Any more help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A votre sante.
